Ferrie and Adam, two scientists from a futuristic Moon colony, find themselves in trouble during a search for moon-rock samples and are rescued by an alien space traveller, who takes them to meet the Supreme Ruler on High Vern, a planet which belongs to a star in a far distant Galaxy. Conditioned by their own society, they find it difficult to adapt to the language, customs and conventions of their new surroundings. Before they leave High Vern, they find themselves inextricably caught up in an intergalactic war, for which Ferrie finds a solution. Feted and rewarded by the Supreme Ruler, they return to Earth - only to find that travel through space can sometimes inadvertently result in travel through time as well...
This is a hilarious satirical romp in which Mark Atwell pokes fun at all our sacred cows and shibboleths.
